Google Glass is back.
After halting sales of Google Glass' first version this January, the company has quietly introduced a new model aimed at playing a larger role in the workplace, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Google has yet to unveil official plans for launching the new version, but the company aims to entice businesses in healthcare, manufacturing, and energy sectors into using the second rendition of Glass by the fall, according to the Journal's report.
Google did not immediately return CNBC's request for comment.
The first rendition of Google Glass, which debuted in 2013, retailed for $1,500 but did not live up to its hype before being pulled in January.
