An uptrend in insider buying among Twitter's management influenced CNBC "Halftime Report" trader Joe Terranova to get behind the stock Monday.

According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company's interim CEO, Jack Dorsey, bought $875,000 worth of Twitter shares last Friday. Other executives like Anthony Noto, Twitter's CFO, have also added to their existing positions in the last week.

So as Twitter stock dropped 16 percent in the past month, hovering around an intraday record low of $26.87 reached Friday, the company's management seems to see it is a bargain.
