NEW YORK, Aug. 17, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, marking its 30th anniversary of receiving new product donations from the fashion, home and children’s industries, will honor two industry leaders and a charitable foundation at its annual gala fundraiser Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers is the charity of choice for new product donations made by hundreds of companies in the fashion, home and children’s industries. Donating new merchandise provides these companies with a simple and effective way to help people in need. This year the charity’s annual gala recognizes the support of Stuart M. Brister of Wells Fargo Capital Finance, Dow Famulak of Global Brands Group, and Shikshya Foundation Nepal with its Co- Founder Prabal Gurung, the renowned fashion designer.
“This is an outstanding celebration supported by the fashion and children's industries,” said Gala Chairman Haresh Tharani. “Each year, leaders in manufacturing, retailing and commercial services come together, honoring colleagues and industry influencers. These honorees and their colleagues help us with our mission of providing donated, new product to people challenged by poverty and natural disasters, such as the recent earthquake in Nepal.”
The theme for this year’s gala is “Invest in the Future,” showcasing how the new product donated throughout the year helps community partners provide hope, dignity and self-esteem to people in need. Gala tables start at $15,000, and a limited number of individual tickets will also be available at $1,500. There are also several special opportunities for corporate or brand sponsorship at the gala; for additional information please contact Camy Calve Events at email@example.com or via phone at 212-218-4080.
