The biggest event of Latin rhythmic music in the Big Apple will feature the biggest stars of Reggaeton, Bachata and Merengue including the newly announced: Elvis Crespo, Grupo Mania, Vico C, Ivy Queen, Baby Rasta & Gringo and Eddy Dee. Elvis Crespo is one of the most important Spanish language music figures today and has had an extraordinary career. The Puertorican singer is Merengue's ambassador, his music and image are almost synonymous with the music genre. Grupo Manía has been singing the best Merengue for more than 10 years. Figures such as Elvis Crespo have emerged out of this group. In their long career, the group has dabbled in different rhythms, always keeping Merengue as the backbone of the musical explorations. Some of their albums have included rhythms like salsa and Spanish hip hop. Vico C is a singer-songwriter from New York of Puerto Rican heritage who has established himself as a leading rapper. The previously announced artists that will make the Big Apple dancing Salsa are: Pirulo y la Tribu, Tony Vega, Luis Enriquez, Hector Tricoche and Nino Segarra. Merengue will also be present, represented by La Dinastía Rosario, the reunion of the most important generation of Dominican Merengue: The Rosario brothers and Toño Rosario. The peculiar sound of Bachata will delight concert attendees by the genre's leading singers including Raulin Rodriguez, El Torito, Bachata Heightz and Jay Ruiz. And the music genre preferred by young Latinos that is conquering the world: Urban Latin music will be represented by Pitbull "Mr. Worldwide" himself, the pioneer Tego Calderon, the hottest duo Gente de Zona and singer Mozart la Para.
