Spanish Broadcasting System Announces Dynamic New Talent Lineup at Its Pop Radio Station, 93.1 Amor

DJ Bacán Bacán to Return to 93.1 Amor

New Content Lineup to be Unveiled at Upcoming Signature Vivelo Private Concert Featuring Wason Brazobán

NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Spanish Broadcasting System (NASDAQ:SBSA), and one of its New York radio stations, 93.1 Amor, today announced programming changes that will reflect a new era of Spanish commercial radio in the city of skyscrapers.

Beginning September 8th, DJ Bacán Bacán will be back on 93.1 Amor, bringing his energy and freshness to the 3pm-7pm afternoon drive shift. DJ Bacán Bacán will join an impressive roster of the best radio talent in the United States, which will delight listeners and deliver engaged audiences to advertisers of the successful radio station.

From Monday through Friday, 6am-11am, the day starts with laughs and pure entertainment, thanks to the vibrant combination of talent in the show "Sin Censura", hosted by Juan Carlos Alonso, who recently joined the team led by longtime radio personality Carolina Cadillo Jensen, and her co-hosts Carlos "Guebin" Molina, Boca Chula, Shorty, Luis Vega and Johnny Famulari. Right after that, from 11am-3pm, the queen of middays, Gloria B, takes over the radio waves with her bubbly personality. DJ Bacán Bacán injects pure adrenaline to the 3pm-7pm slot. And Luis Javier, the sexiest voice in radio, ends the day from 7pm-midnight with his distinctive and natural style. Of course, during the weekends, 93.1 Amor is still the home of the King of Radio, Polito Vega, who shakes up the big apple with Salsa Con Polito, from 12 pm-8 pm.

This revitalized lineup is a perfect complement to 93.1 Amor's sister station, Mega 97.9, so they can both settle even deeper into the hearts of New York Latinos. As they have done in their 32 year trajectory, SBS' New York stations will continue to be the pioneers in Spanish entertainment and continue to deliver the highest quality content in the Hispanic Metro-Universe in the Tristate area.

93.1 Amor will unveil this new lineup during the upcoming signature Vivelo private concert, to be held on September 23rd, 2015 at Un Chin Lounge, located at 3795 10th Avenue in Upper Manhattan, featuring a live performance by one of the most popular Dominican singer-songwriters of our times, Wason Brazobán.
