GOP presidential debate: Sparks fly as hopefuls square off

Republican presidential hopefuls sparred in the party's second series of televised debates on Wednesday.

The 11 highest polling candidates squared off just after 8 p.m. ET—while the other four candidates took the stage two hours earlier.

Real estate magnate Donald Trump leads the crowded field nationally and in key early primary states. He was flanked on either side of the stage by retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush—the other two GOP poll leaders.
