CHICAGO, Oct. 07, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AbstoneLalley, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Washington, D.C. The fast growing, minority-owned and managed legal and corporate consulting firm, adds its fourth location to current offices in Chicago, New York City, and the San Francisco Bay Area.
“The increasing number of large law firms that have placed their headquarters or satellite offices in the nation's capital has created a very vibrant legal market in Washington, D.C.,” said Rodney L. Abstone II, Chief Executive Officer of AbstoneLalley, Inc. “This office gives us a presence in one of the country’s most active and competitive legal markets and continues our strategic growth to better serve our clients on the East Coast and throughout the U.S.”
AbstoneLalley’s Washington, D.C. office is led by Cheryl Kettler, Esq., National Partner Specialist and Bennett Lowenthal, International Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor, who relocated from the Chicago office to form the company’s new office in D.C. The Washington office will benefit from their combined expertise and extensive knowledge of the D.C. legal and government communities.
Cheryl Kettler, National Partner Specialist – Lateral Acquisition of Partners and Practice Groups, has been a practicing lawyer for nearly 30 years. She began her legal career as a Washington, D.C. lawyer, and then moved to Chicago where she practiced at prominent firms, eventually becoming a shareholder. She also served as an adjunct professor at Roosevelt University and DePaul University’s College of Law in Chicago. In addition to her role with AbstoneLalley, Cheryl is currently a visiting professor at The George Washington University Law School.
Bennett Lowenthal, International Mergers and Acquisitions Advisor, is a former Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State. He has developed an extensive network, ranging from overseas business professionals and Washington, D.C. insiders to U.S. diplomatic and consular officials and foreign journalists. Bennett’s practical experience navigating this network and 23-year career as a diplomat for the U.S. government allows him to serve as a trusted advisor to AbstoneLalley’s clients.
“With the pace of lateral acquisitions and law firm mergers remaining strong, our clients have become increasingly more concerned with efficiency, predictability, and cost effectiveness,” Abstone added. “Very few outside consulting firms have made meaningful changes to the traditional method of advising law firms with their growth strategies. AbstoneLalley has set out to change this – through a combination of three differentiating factors: high caliber expertise, personalized service, and a cost-effective pricing structure. AbstoneLalley is well-positioned to help law firms with their strategic growth endeavors.”
