The end-of-September short interest represents 5.05 days average daily Nasdaq Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 4.46 days for the prior reporting period.
Short interest in 724 securities on The Nasdaq Capital MarketSM totaled 867,605,483 shares at the end of the settlement date of September 30, 2015 compared with 851,055,313 shares in 723 securities for the previous reporting period.
