Semi-truck convoy ships 2.08 million-pound object


A 2.8 million-pound apparatus was hauled down a Canadian highway this week, United Press International reported Thursday.

According to the report, a man filmed and posted footage of the object on Youtube, as it was traveling down an Alberta highway. The over-sized load was on top of a flatbed trailer and connected to five semi-trucks that were shipping it to Fort McMurray.

While there has been no official statement of exactly what this piece of equipment was, Reddit users speculated that it was a pressurized container for petroleum gas.
