NEWARK, Del., Oct. 29, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Artesian Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:ARTNA) announced today that Artesian Water Maryland, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary, was inducted into the Cecil County, Maryland Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame on Friday, October 23, 2015 at The Wellwood in Charlestown, Maryland. In 2013 Artesian completed an interconnection with the town of Chesapeake City which made Artesian the sole supplier of water to the town and surrounding area.

“We are honored at being inducted into the Cecil County Chamber Business Hall of Fame. Our presence in the County has provided us with many opportunities to not only serve the citizens of the County with quality water and reliable service, but to be a good corporate citizen through our community involvement work,” said Dian C.
