First NBC and State Investors Announce Receipt of All Regulatory Approvals

NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 29, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First NBC Bank Holding Company (“First NBC”) (NASDAQ:FNBC), the holding company for First NBC Bank, and State Investors Bancorp, Inc. (“State Investors”) (NASDAQ:SIBC), the holding company for State-Investors Bank, announced today that First NBC has received the approval of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta to complete the acquisition of State Investors, having previously received the approvals of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions. The transaction is expected to close on or about November 30, 2015, subject to the satisfaction of remaining closing conditions.
