NEW YORK, Nov. 05, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- HC2 Holdings, Inc. ("HC2" or the "Company") (NYSE MKT:HCHC) today announced that Jefferies LLC, the underwriter of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 7,350,000 newly issued shares of the Company’s common stock, has exercised its over-allotment option to purchase an additional 1,102,500 shares of common stock at the public offering price of $7.00 per share, less underwriting discounts. After giving effect to the over-allotment closing, the total number of shares sold by HC2 in its offering increased to 8,452,500 shares, which resulted in aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $59.2 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses.
Jefferies LLC acted as sole book-running manager for the offering.
