Sparks fly in fourth GOP presidential debate

GOP hopefuls squared off Tuesday night in their fourth round of debates.

The front-runners in the Republican race, real estate mogul Donald Trump and retired surgeon Ben Carson, took center stage in the 9 p.m. ET main debate. They were joined by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, former HP CEO Carly Fiorina, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.

The "undercard" debate, which began at 7 p.m. ET, featured New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal.
