Educational software firm rings NYSE opening bell

Educational software company Instructure rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Friday.

The company's CEO, Josh Coates, and other managers attended the event in celebration of its initial public offering.

Instructure's software is used in schools, and recently at companies for training and engagement, according to the company's website.

The stock trades under the ticker symbol "INST."
