Top strategist says US market is worst place to be

Jim Paulsen, chief investment strategist at Wells Capital Management, joined CNBC Pro on Thursday in a special Q&A for subscribers.

During his discussion with CNBC's Mike Santoli, Paulsen explained why the U.S. market is probably the worst place to invest in right now.

Paulsen, whose firm manages more than $300 billion, is one of the top economic and market forecasters on Wall Street.

The strategist believes the U.S. market is overvalued, especially considering that the Fed appears about to raise rates.

In contrast, he thinks overseas markets are underowned, represent better valuations, have accommodative central banks and are comprised of companies with greater earnings potential.

Other topics include his investment outlook for 2016, interest rates and more.
