Tesla Motors co-founder and CEO Elon Musk is looking for a few good software engineers, and he says he'll interview them personally.
Musk took to Twitter on Thursday to tell followers that developing autopilot technology for his fleet of electrics cars remains a "super high" priority for Tesla. To that end, he's looking for "hardcore software engineers" to come on board.
Tesla is far from alone in the race toward self-driving cars. Google already has some autonomous cars on certain city streets while Apple and Uber are also top contenders. More established automakers are also trying to develop viable, self-driving software.
Tesla first started equipping its Model S with self-driving technologies in October 2014.
