Tesla Motors co-founder and CEO Elon Musk is looking for a few good software engineers, and he says he'll interview them personally.
Musk took to on Thursday to tell followers that developing autopilot technology for his fleet of electrics cars remains a "super high" priority for Tesla. To that end, he's looking for "hardcore software engineers" to come on board.
Tesla is far from alone in the race toward self-driving cars. Google already has some autonomous cars on certain city streets while Apple and Uber are also top contenders. More established automakers are also trying to develop viable, self-driving software.
Tesla first started equipping its Model S with self-driving technologies in October 2014.
