The Oreo mashup list seems endless: cookie dough, s'mores, red velvet, birthday cake…and now additional churro products.
J&J Snack Foods is pushing the Oreo envelope even further with its new crème-filled Oreo churros, available in a 10-inch version and as a bites product.
Both will be sold nationwide in the foodservice channel, while the new bites will be available at retail stores, too.
Original OREO churros first launched in November of last year. Oreo, which is used under license, is a registered trademark of Mondelez.
"We were overwhelmed by the national buzz surrounding the original OREO Churros, so immediately began working on a product line extension so that the snack was available to dippers or grippers," Gerry Shreiber, CEO & president of J&J Snack Foods, said in a release.
