Credit Acceptance Named #1 on the Detroit Free Press 2015 Top Workplaces List

Southfield, Michigan, Nov. 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Credit Acceptance Corporation (NASDAQ: CACC) (referred to as the “Company”, “Credit Acceptance”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) has been awarded the 2015 Top Workplaces honor by the Detroit Free Press. We were named the #1 workplace in the large company category. This is the fourth year in a row that Credit Acceptance has won a Detroit Free Press Top Workplace honor, and the first time we’ve been named #1.

Credit Acceptance was selected from among hundreds of companies vying for a place on the list. Our ranking was based solely on the results of a team member survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of our workplace culture were measured including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

“We are proud to be named the #1 Top Workplace among large companies, and thankful to everyone at Credit Acceptance for helping us earn this honor,” said Brett Roberts, CEO. “Together, we have built a culture that really matters to us, and we are working every day to make it even better.”

About Credit Acceptance

Since 1972, Credit Acceptance has offered automobile dealers financing programs that enable them to sell vehicles to consumers, regardless of their credit history. Our financing programs are offered through a nationwide network of automobile dealers who benefit from sales of vehicles to consumers who otherwise could not obtain financing; from repeat and referral sales generated by these same customers; and from sales to customers responding to advertisements for our product, but who actually end up qualifying for traditional financing.

Without our financing programs, consumers are often unable to purchase a vehicle or they purchase an unreliable one. Further, as we report to the three national credit reporting agencies, an important ancillary benefit of our programs is that we provide a significant number of our consumers with an opportunity to improve their lives by improving their credit score and move on to more traditional sources of financing. Credit Acceptance is publicly traded on the NASDAQ under the symbol CACC. For more information, visit
