eRAD PACS Deployed in Unity Medical and Surgical Hospital

GREENVILLE, S.C., Dec. 08, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- eRAD, a division of RadNet, Inc., and a leading provider of standards-based, web-centric radiology image and data management solutions, announced today that Unity Medical and Surgical Hospital has deployed eRAD PACS as a cloud-based solution.

Unity Medical and Surgical Hospital (UMSH) is a 29-bed inpatient/outpatient surgical hospital that focuses on surgeries and diagnostic imaging. UMSH serves the Michiana area in northern Indiana and southwestern Michigan.

In lieu of an expensive upgrade to a legacy system, UMSH took the opportunity to implement a more flexible PACS system on their virtual environment. UMSH found that eRAD’s cloud technology delivered the benefits necessary for their busy, multi-specialty facility.
