Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer gave birth to identical twin daughters early Thursday morning.
In a tweet, Mayer said that she and her family are "doing great."
The announcement comes amid a tumultuous month for Mayer and Yahoo. The company announced Wednesday it would abandon the planned spin of its stake in Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba and look into other options.
