IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 14, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Autobytel Inc. The team at Chicago-area dealership Taylor Chrysler Dodge Jeep services customers in their market area, as well as consumers from Wisconsin, Indiana, Arkansas, Texas – even as far away as Germany and England. Internet Director Ben Seyden says roughly 40% of the dealership’s total sales come from Internet leads. Its commitment to process, including finding the right people, properly training them, and keeping them happy, has helped increase the store’s average sales per month. The dealership also utilizes Autobytel’s TextShield platform to communicate with customers in the manner they prefer, reaching incremental car buyers they wouldn’t have reached without a texting platform.

Stillwell Ford in Hillsdale, Michigan happily sells cars to customers who live five minutes away from the dealership, or 500 miles away. Rob Grossheim, Internet Sales Manager, credits much of the store’s success to an outstanding staff and explains that responding to customers quickly and offering the exact information they are looking for in a clear and concise manner is fundamentally important. Stillwell Ford also uses TextShield, and Grossheim says the response from customers who opt in to communicate via text is very positive. Overall, Stillwell Ford’s process, its commitment to consistent and timely communication, and a willingness to step outside its comfort zone to evolve with customers’ needs are key factors of the store’s success.

The Ed Morse Automotive Group in Florida is a family-owned and operated dealer group established in 1946. Director of E-Commerce, Peter Deiser is an auto industry veteran.
