Jim Paulsen, chief investment strategist at Wells Capital Management, joined CNBC Pro last month for a special Q&A.

During his conversation with CNBC's Mike Santoli, Paulsen told why the U.S. market is probably the worst place to invest in right now.

Paulsen, whose firm manages more than $300 billion, is one of the top economic and market forecasters on Wall Street.

Apart from his investment strategy for 2016, Paulsen laid out his outlook on valuations, where he is finding opportunities and more.
