National Football League fans have apparently lost some interest in the one-loss Carolina Panthers.

The Atlanta Falcons beat the Panthers 20-13 on Sunday, handing Carolina its first loss of the season in 15 games. With the undefeated campaign spoiled, resale ticket prices for Carolina's season finale this weekend plunged more than 40 percent from Sunday to Monday, according to listings on secondary ticket site TiqIQ.

The average TiqIQ price for this weekend's contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers dropped to about $270 on Monday morning from roughly $474 before Sunday's game. The cheapest asking price fell from $198 to $114 in the same time period.

Finding a seat at the Panthers' regular season finale may still prove difficult despite the loss. Only three tickets were available directly from the team on Monday afternoon, and the cheapest cost $250.

Carolina, led by quarterback Cam Newton, had become one of only four teams to win the first 14 contests in a season. With the Panthers' loss, the New England Patriots remain the only team to finish a 16-0 regular season.
