By developing what is called "gene therapy," which looks to deliver functioning copies of genes to make up for ones that cause disease, Spark Therapeutics is seeking to change the landscape of how drug treatments for chronic diseases are developed.
Apart from describing where promising developments are taking place, Marrazzo also shared insight into what the regulatory path may be for this program.
