Matrix Medical Network Adds Leadership to Expand Business Development Team

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Jan. 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Matrix Medical Network® (Matrix), the leading provider of in-home assessments and care management, has announced that Mr. Mark McKeown, PAHM, and Mr. Fred Barry have joined Matrix as vice presidents of sales. They will be responsible for executing Matrix’s business development strategy and leading growth across Matrix’s expanded product and service portfolio.

Mr. McKeown and Mr. Barry are the latest additions to Matrix’s new business development team. The company has built a new sales organization to support a wider array of services it now delivers and the new markets it serves, which include Exchange and Managed Medicaid health plans, in addition to the Medicare Advantage market.

Mr. McKeown is an accomplished sales executive who has a wealth of experience in strategic solutions selling in healthcare. Mr. McKeown comes to Matrix from Edifecs, an international healthcare technology company, where he served as regional vice president of sales. Previously, Mr. McKeown held a variety of sales leadership roles at healthcare services and IT firms. Additionally, he holds the Academy for Healthcare Management’s professional designation (PAHM).

He comes to Matrix from Alegeus Technologies, a healthcare and benefit payment solutions company, where he served as regional vice president of payer solutions. Prior to that, Mr. Barry served as regional vice president of payer solutions for a leading member engagement provider as well as a national healthcare services company.
