Sunrun Appoints Katherine August-deWilde to Board of Directors

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 29, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sunrun (Nasdaq:RUN), the largest dedicated residential solar company in the United States, today announced that financial services leader, Katherine August-deWilde, has been appointed to the company’s board of directors. Ms. August-deWilde is the current vice chair and former president of First Republic Bank and is the first board member to join Sunrun since the company completed its initial public offering in 2015.

Ms. August-deWilde has deep experience building a trusted brand through an intense focus on customer service. In addition to her current role, she has also served as First Republic Bank’s initial chief financial officer. Her leadership has helped the bank consistently grow its enterprise value over many years as well as receive recognition for its exemplary customer service. In addition to Sunrun and First Republic Bank, Ms. August-deWilde is also a board member of TriNet (NYSE:TNET) and Equilar (Private).
