Top investor Link likes an industrial play

Stephanie Link, managing director at TIAA-CREF, acquired shares of Parker-Hannifin and got rid of Pinnacle Foods for her CNBC "Halftime Report" model portfolio Friday.

Parker-Hannifin is a global manufacturing company with over $13 billion in sales. The company produces motion control, filtration and sealing systems for the industrial and aerospace markets.

In another move, trader Joe Terranova bought Palo Alto Networks for the trading competition and trimmed some of his other positions. He also sold Cabot Oil & Gas.
