This tour will showcase the vertically integrated manufacturing operation in Latham, New York, and spotlight ways that Plug Power continues to lead hydrogen and fuel cell system development and manufacturing in both New York State, and the entire country. Following the tour, the Congressmen will join Plug Power CEO, Andy Marsh, for remarks to Plug Power employees and the media.

SUMMARY:

Plug Power continues to strengthen its product portfolio with hydrogen and fuel cell products that offer customers reliable products that boost productivity and reduce costs in real-world applications. In the past 18 months, Plug Power has vertically integrated:

-Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell stacks

-Now manufactured in the United States, Plug Power’s proprietary high-power and low-power stacks are used in Plug Power’s mobile and stationary fuel cell systems.

-GenFuel outdoor hydrogen fueling skid

-Rep. Tonko and Rep. Gibson will see first-hand where the outdoor hydrogen refueling infrastructure is manufactured and shipped to customers. Improvements in this product have allowed Plug Power to convert customers with as few as 20 lift trucks to economically viable hydrogen fuel cell power.

-GenFuel indoor hydrogen fueling dispensers

-Plug Power has installed more than 100 GenFuel dispensers at customer sites, which dispense more than 2.5 tons of hydrogen daily.
