Phoenix, AZ, Feb. 18, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RAADR, Inc. (OTCQB: RDAR), a technology and software development company that monitors cyber bullying and social media platforms through its artificially intelligent proprietary web-based application, was featured yesterday in an article put out by the Scottsdale Independent, which increased the company’s reach into the community.
Initially, the article discussed research done by the Pew Research Center, which concluded that half of parents of teens between 13 and 17 years old check their children’s social media pages, and only 36% of those parents speak with their children about their online actions often. The article then points out how the RAADR platform can be utilized to create a more effective process for parents to use to start these conversations.
The article acknowledges that parents can sign up for RAADR’s service and use it without their children’s knowledge of it, but passes along CEO Jacob DiMartino’s recommendation to create a dialog with children about safe online behavior.
“Even if children are behaving appropriately enough online to not raise flags with our platform, parents should discuss online behavior with their children. Their digital profiles will be seen by future employers and potentially even law enforcement agents. Things that appear on the internet can be permanent, and that is a conversation that needs to be had,” said DiMartino.
