The property is owned by Tera Sahara, Inc., and its principal, Mike Bath, also owns three full-service RLHC properties, including the Red Lion Hotel Pendleton, Oregon; the Red Lion Hotel Kelso/Longview, Washington; and the Red Lion Hotel Yakima, Washington.

Redding is known as an outdoor recreation hub in northeastern California with rich and diverse attractions, including Lake Shasta, Lassen National Volcanic Park and Shasta Cavern.
