Hill International Recognized with Two Awards from WTS’s Metro Phoenix Chapter

PHILADELPHIA and PHOENIX, March 18, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today that it has received two awards from the Metro Phoenix Chapter of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS).

The first award recognized Hill as the chapter’s Employer of the Year. This award is presented to a firm that displays an outstanding record of affirmative action in hiring and promoting at all employment levels, supports the continued success of its employees through professional education, professional organizations and professional development opportunities and encourages young women to enter the transportation field by providing internship opportunities.

The second award recognized Petrina N. Lundy, Director of Design with Hill’s Proposals and Graphics Group, as the chapter’s Member of the Year. Lundy has more than 18 years of graphics design and animation experience and has been a WTS member since 2012. She has served as the chapter’s Awards Ceremony Chair for the past four years and has recruited volunteers, created themes and branding for the event, developed programs and provided assistance with marketing and collateral material for the chapter. The Member of the Year award is presented to a member for their dedication to the WTS goals and principles and for supporting the attraction, retention, and advancement of women in transportation.

The awards were presented to Hill at the chapter’s Annual Scholarship and Awards Ceremony held on March 12, 2016, at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona.
