Key areas SMTC focuses on include: compliance with environmental legislation, pollution prevention, minimizing energy and resource usage, and exceeding customer environmental expectations.

Steve Brown, Vice President of Quality and Engineering believes, "This certification provides us with a prominent means to demonstrate our strong commitment to the environment and our community. It also serves to showcase our commitment to environmental practices within our industry."
