Fans of Auntie Anne's pretzels can now enjoy the savory treat for breakfast thanks to Carl's Jr. and Hardee's.

CKE Restaurants, the owner of the two brands, is slated to release the Pretzel Breakfast Sandwich on Wednesday. The company partnered with Auntie Anne's, the world's largest soft pretzel franchise, to create the new play on breakfast.

The Pretzel Breakfast sandwich is made with a soft pretzel roll bun and topped with a sausage patty, an egg and two different cheeses — American and Swiss.
