Mr. Gednalske will be responsible for providing legal counsel to executive staff and operating departments to ensure adherence to laws, rules, and regulations relating to new or revised products and services offerings. With over 30 years of experience practicing law, Mr. Gednalske has spent nearly 20 years in the financial industry. “We are extremely fortunate to have someone with Jeff’s background and experience join MetaBank,” said J. Mr. Gednalske held several positions at Citibank prior to joining MetaBank. While at Citibank, he served as Managing Director of Citigroup, Inc., and General Counsel for Citi Credit Cards, providing legal advice and guidance to senior management to ensure that policy and products were compliant with regulations. He also led a team of lawyers, paralegals and compliance officers as part of his responsibilities.
In his new role of Chief Policy Officer, Mr. Hagy will be responsible for Meta’s government and industry relations among other duties. He served as an NBPCA board member, and is an active industry speaker and advocate. Mr. Hagy is also the recent recipient of NBPCA’s inaugural Terrence P. Maher Prepaid Influencer Award in 2015.
