Smithfield Sampling Exciting Bacon Dishes at Brunch Event During Baconfest Chicago

CHICAGO, April 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- This weekend, more than 100 of Chicago’s best chefs will concoct and serve creative bacon dishes to thousands of passionate bacon lovers at Baconfest Chicago.



Smithfield, one of America’s leading bacon brands, will be sampling new, flavorful bacon dishes during the event’s Sunday Brunch presented by Jewel-Osco. The new recipes, developed by Smithfield’s Chef Frank Dominguez, will include Bacon & Jack Tots with Cholula ketchup, Bacon-Wrapped Goat Cheese-Stuffed Dates, and Coconut Bacon Macaroons.
