Another quarter, another $6 billion-plus for Jeff Bezos.
Amazon shares surged 10 percent, a windfall for the CEO and holder of 82.9 million shares of stock.
The gain would theoretically vault him past Mexican telecommunications tycoon Carlos Slim into fourth place on the list of the world's richest people, per Forbes.
Of course, a big post-earnings move is nothing new for Bezos. In January he lost a theoretical $7 billion in mere minutes after the company posted holiday earnings that missed expectations.
