DENVER, May 19, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Nurse-Family Partnership National Service Office has named the Denver-based The Idea Marketing as its agency of record to lead its marketing initiatives to enroll more expectant, first-time moms in poverty. The Idea Marketing's full-service, integrated marketing team will conduct market research, develop strategic plans and implement campaigns in order to build Nurse-Family Partnership's brand awareness and increase client enrollment in targeted markets in South Carolina, Texas and California.
Nurse-Family Partnership is currently enrolling expectant, first-time moms, who meet low-income requirements, to its program that provides nurse-led home visits throughout pregnancy until the child's second birthday. The program is free and voluntary for women who qualify, and empowers women to have a healthy pregnancy and give their newborns a healthier and brighter start.
"At Nurse-Family Partnership we have a special window of opportunity to be able to reach expectant moms at a monumental time in their lives when they are preparing to be a mom for the first time," said Benilda Samuels, chief marketing and communications officer at Nurse-Family Partnership. "Idea Marketing brings a wealth of talent to help us reach this group of women in poverty. They invest in understanding who they are and how to approach bringing the enrollment opportunity to them through effective media advertising and outreach strategies in multiple languages and with culturally-relevant communications."
"We want to help Nurse-Family Partnership reach the thousands of hard-to-reach pregnant women who are in need of support," said Patricia Lepiani, president of The Idea Marketing. "We are thrilled to be developing marketing strategies aimed at enrolling a large segment of this population, thus contributing to the positive effects of Nurse-Family Partnership in breaking cycles of poverty in our country."
The Idea Marketing thrives on being a catalyst for the betterment of the community. As such, a large portion of its portfolio of clients are in the nonprofit and government sectors. In addition to their top-notch marketing expertise, their deep understanding of diversity and multicultural audiences has proven critical to their track record of successful social marketing campaigns.
