SPOKANE, Wash., May 23, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RLHC (Red Lion Hotels Corporation) (NYSE:RLH) continues to execute on its strategy to expand in the Eastern U.S. and grow in markets nationwide. Over the last 24 months, RLHC has added 34 properties in the east, 26 locations have already opened, and eight are currently either in development or under renovation.

RLHC has revamped its guest room prototypes and hotel programming to address guests’ preferences, making the hotel fit the guest and not the other way around. Each hotel that has been added to the Company’s system in key locations is undergoing property upgrades to add RLHC’s signature elements. Guests can expect to see complimentary artisanal coffee, plush bath sheets and personal care products from Cascadia Soapery.

Red Lion Hotel Atlanta Airport recently opened in April, while Red Lion Hotel Jacksonville is scheduled to open its doors next month. Other additions to the portfolio will include Hotel RL Brooklyn Bed-Stuy later this summer and Red Lion Hotel Orlando-Lake Buena Vista South opening this November.
