Cramer: Everybody at the Fed has egg on their face, except Yellen

Federal Reserve officials looked like fools after Friday's weak jobs report, but Janet Yellen did not because she is truly data dependent, CNBC's Jim Cramer said Tuesday.

"She is waiting, she looks at a number that comes out that is the weakest in six years and she is the only one that I don't feel has scrambled egg on her face," Cramer said on "Squawk on the Street."

"She's the chair person. There are a lot of people who aren't the chair who, when you look back, make me feel like 'you know what, Cleveland is going to crush the Golden State Warriors.' These are people who … if they were correspondents [for ESPN], they wouldn't be there the next time," he said. "The Denny's Grand Slam is not on her face, but a lot of these Federal Reserve guys … the eggs on their face could be served cold or hot."

In a Monday speech, Yellen said that Friday's jobs report was concerning, but that "one should never attach too much significance to any single monthly report."

U.S. equities reacted positively to her speech, with the Dow Jones industrial average rising more than 100 points. On Tuesday, stocks tried to continue the rally, with the blue chip index near the psychologically important level of 18,000.
