ANAHEIM, Calif., June 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rise9, the invite-only community for digitally focused talent and executives, returned to VidCon for its 2nd year to celebrate the industry and encourage more influencer collaborations. Presented by Diply, and in partnership with media empire Mashable, this year’s party entertained guests with its Back to the Future theme at vintage car museum Highway 39 Events Center.

Talent including Smosh, Smosh Games, Logan Paul, Patrick Starrr, Manny Mua, Liza Koshy, Steve Kardynal, Lauren Giraldo and executives from Hollywood and Silicon Valley’s flagship players in the digital space were entertained by a 50’s barbershop quartet, vintage candy girls, a real-life DeLorean time machine photo booth and live music. Emceed by wacky German, Flula Borg, the night featured performances by social media influencers Dave Days, The Flux Capacitors, Nicole Arbour, DJ Brody Jenner, and the ultimate throwback, Aaron Carter who paid homage to his old tunes and introduced songs from his new album including his current hit “Fool’s Gold.”
Guests nibbled on burgers, fries, Ring Pops and sipped on cocktails curated by New Amsterdam Vodka. Live streaming service, Live.me, overtook the red carpet and inside the party to feed real-time moments with the industry’s leading faces for fans to share the experience. G2A.com entertained guests in its lounge with 3D image printing, along with photo/video sessions provided by Movebooth and iBlossom. Gibson Brands and Epiphone sponsored an acoustic guitar giveaway as part a contest to “take the silliest selfie and send it to us” at the Rise9 2016 VidCon Party. An Epiphone FT-350 with MinETune - “The Guitar of The Future” was given away to the winner.
