The "Fast Money " traders found some stocks worth buying as markets sit near all-time highs.
The major indexes gained more than 1 percent on the back of a stronger-than-expected jobs report on Friday. The S&P 500 ended just short of its all-time closing high.
Trader Guy Adami said defense stocks like Lockheed Martin and Raytheon are still attractive regardless of what one might think about valuation. Adami also likes the iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT) and the VanEck Vectors Gold Miners ETF.
"TLT for a number of different reasons should've sold off today, closed on the highs. Gold had every opportunity to get obliterated today, didn't do it. Again, stock market is going higher, that's fine, but I still think TLT goes higher, still think the gold miners go higher," Adami said.
Trader Brian Kelly's advice is to "stick with what is in a bull market which is TLT, gold, silver."
Guy Adami is long CELG, EXAS, GDX, INTC. Guy Adami's wife, Linda Snow, works at Merck.
