Home Security Provider My Alarm Center Appoints Megan MacDonald as Vice President of Marketing

Newtown Square, PA, July 25, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- My Alarm Center, the home security and automation provider with more than 15 years of security and monitoring experience, has appointed Megan MacDonald as VP of Marketing. In this newly expanded role, she will oversee marketing for the corporate brand, its newest division, LivSecure, and six regional branches. MacDonald joined My Alarm Center (MAC) nearly two years ago to establish and grow the company’s new do-it-yourself home security division, LivSecure. Her role has since expanded to include more corporate responsibilities and functions. With almost 15 years of experience in brand development, operational and business analytics, customer experience management and sales and marketing, MacDonald is expressly qualified to oversee all outbound communications aspects of MAC and its divisions.

Prior to joining My Alarm Center, MacDonald served as director of marketing and product operations for LifeShield, a DIRECTV Company. In her role at LifeShield, she was responsible for all aspects of product management, from engineering to customer experience and satisfaction. Additionally, she was responsible for designing and implementing programs to support both remote and field-based operations. Prior to the DIRECTV acquisition of LifeShield, she served as VP of sales and business development where she managed LifeShield's sales call center while managing and cultivating all online and offline partnerships.

In addition to her experience at LifeShield, MacDonald has more than 10 years of experience with various organizations driving revenues through new product and program introductions, most notably at NutriSystem.
