Plata o plomo?
Fans of Netflix's "Narcos" can soon decide for themselves in an official game based on the hit series about Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar.
Variety reported that free-to-play game publisher FTX Games is working with Gaumont Television, which produces the Netflix original. The two plan to launch the game, "Narcos: Cartel Wars," in September in tandem with the release of the second season of the drama.
In line with the popular quote from "Narcos," the game allows players to "decide between leading through raw power or gathering respect through loyalty," according to FTX's website.
In the game, players "learn the ropes of running an operation from El Patrón" and can either "choose Plomo and send death squads to take over high value resources" or "choose Plata and hire sicarios" to carry out orders.
