AngioDynamics Announces Secondary Offering of 2,250,000 Shares of Common Stock by Selling Stockholders

ALBANY, N.Y., Aug. 01, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AngioDynamics, Inc. (NASDAQ:ANGO), a leading provider of innovative, minimally invasive medical devices for vascular access, surgery, peripheral vascular disease and oncology, today announced that Avista Capital Partners, LP and affiliated investment funds intend to offer for sale 2,250,000 shares of common stock in an underwritten secondary offering, pursuant to the Company’s shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”). The selling shareholders will receive all of the net proceeds from the offering. AngioDynamics is not selling any common shares in the offering and will not receive any of the proceeds. Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. will act as underwriter for the offering.
