Associa Minnesota is utilizing those resources to the fullest extent and wants to congratulate four CMCA designees and four managers who recently completed an advanced leadership course.
So far in 2016, 11 Associa Minnesota association managers have earned Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designations. The CMCA designation is recognized by Community Associations Institute (CAI) and is the only national certification program designed exclusively for community managers. The four recent recipients are.
- Kelly Harnitz is a community manager in charge of close to 1,000 units. She joined Associa Minnesota last year and has been in the business for more than six years.
- Kevin Steiner is a manager of developing communities who began his career with Associa in 2014. He manages more than 650 homes and is a member of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC).
- Kris Maas is an assistant community manager in her second year with Associa. She helps manage close to 1,200 homes.
- Frank Cupersmith has been in the industry for 15 years and a community manager for Associa since 2015. He's a licensed real estate broker managing 1,150 homes.

The M-203 is a leadership training course that helps managers prepare for CAI's highest level designation – the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM). Recently passing the M-203 test are:
