Billionaire investor Carl Icahn pushed back aggressively at critics of Donald Trump, defending the Republican presidential candidate's economic plan in an extensive interview with CNBC's Scott Wapner on Tuesday.
On Trump: "I think he's right on about the economy," Icahn said. "Our country can't exist when the government is at war with business."
Icahn added, "We have a massive problem and Donald is addressing it. The Democrats are not."
