(NASDAQ:LOAN), a real estate finance company specializing in originating, funding, servicing, and managing a portfolio of short-term loans secured by first mortgage liens on real estate, today announced the closing of its previously announced public offering of 672,269 common shares at a price to the public of $5.95 per share. Gross proceeds to Manhattan Bridge Capital from the offering were approximately $4,000,000, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other estimated offering expenses. Manhattan Bridge Capital has granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to 100,840 additional common shares to cover over-allotments, if any.
Aegis Capital Corp. acted as the sole book-running manager for the offering.
