LogMeIn’s Rescue Lens Named Finalist in the 2016 CTIA Emerging Technology Awards

BOSTON, Aug. 17, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LogMeIn, Inc. (NASDAQ:LOGM) was named a finalist for the 10th Annual CTIA Emerging Technology Awards for its innovative remote support technology, Rescue Lens.

The 10th anniversary awards program, entitled “The Best of Everything,” highlights cutting-edge mobile products and services for excellence in transforming networks, businesses, smart cities, connected consumers and government. Rescue Lens was selected among hundreds of submissions and named a finalist in the Mobile Customer Experience Management & Data Analytics category.

Rescue Lens is a video-aided support capability aimed at addressing the rapidly expanding world of connected products – and the new needs of today's connected customer. Using a secure, live camera feed from a customer's or employee's mobile device, Rescue Lens empowers customer service agents to see and remotely assist with product issues that are reported by customers, employees or other field technicians, as if the product were directly in front of them. Rescue Lens is part of LogMeIn Rescue, LogMeIn's flagship professional remote support solution. Through Rescue Lens, customer service staff can now remotely guide these users through product setup, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and more, for virtually any connected or yet-to-be-connected product. As a result, companies can reimagine how they deliver customer service, field service, and IT support to help reduce returns, decrease costly onsite support costs, boost customer satisfaction, and even create new service offerings.

“Customer experience is proving to be a key competitive differentiator for companies in all industries," said Dave Campbell, Vice President, Customer Engagement and Support Solutions, LogMeIn. “Rescue Lens is designed to allow support agents to get an eye on a customer’s issue and get it resolved quickly and efficiently. Being recognized by the CTIA for excellence in this area is great validation as we work to continue to develop solutions that enable companies to create positive experiences that result happy, loyal customers.”

The winners will be announced on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at CTIA Super Mobility 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. For more information, please visit www.ctia.org.
