LifeSci Advisors Announces Opening of Office in Tel-Aviv, Israel

NEW YORK, Sept. 14, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LifeSci Advisors, a New York-based, life sciences focused investor relations consultancy, is pleased to announce today the opening of an office in Tel-Aviv, Israel. The establishment of an Israeli office, together with the recent expansion of its European team, reflects LifeSci Advisors’ increasing international focus.

Israel was selected as the location for LifeSci Advisors’ newest office due to the firm’s long-standing relationships with numerous companies and investors in Israel, together with Israel’s emergence as one of the world’s leading centers for life sciences. The Tel-Aviv office is being managed by Moran Meir Beres, who brings extensive senior level investor relations experience in Israel.

“The environment of entrepreneurship and innovation in Israel has resulted in significant growth in the country’s life sciences sector. The opening of our new office marks a major commitment to the region and to the future of our firm,” said Michael Rice, Co-founder of LifeSci Advisors. “Having a local presence and local expertise in an area where we have already have significant business activity will allow us to better serve our existing client base and to expand our business further.”

“We are delighted to welcome Moran to LifeSci Advisors,” continued Mr. Rice. “Moran’s extensive track record in healthcare investor relations, together with her strong relationships in the financial community, positions her well to lead our efforts and further enhance our profile in Israel.”

“I am very excited to be joining LifeSci Advisors and view this as a great opportunity to work with an extraordinary international team,” said Moran Meir-Beres. “LifeSci’s services and capabilities are truly unique among investor relations firms and they have quickly established themselves as a major force in the industry. The firm’s focus on the life sciences sector and strong relationships with key industry investors globally provide Israeli companies with the opportunity to expand their visibility with investors world-wide.”

Moran Meir-Beres brings over 15 years of investor relations experience, having worked with Israel’s largest and most prominent private and publicly traded companies. Prior to joining LifeSci Advisors, Mrs. Meir-Beres was a senior account executive at KM Investor Relations, where she provided companies from a wide range of sectors ongoing investor and financial media relations counsel, as well as advisory services related to public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions and crisis management. Prior to joining KM, Mrs. Meir-Beres was part of the investor relations team at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., Israel’s largest healthcare company. Moran earned her B.A. and Master’s Degree in Law from Bar-Ilan University in Israel.

The establishment of the Tel-Aviv office builds on LifeSci Advisors’ ongoing international expansion. Earlier this year, the firm appointed Niki Dilger in London to lead its European institutional sales efforts. Complementing the firm’s headquarters in New York and the new office in Tel-Aviv, LifeSci Advisors also has operations in Boston, Chicago, London, and Geneva.
