These include Collections, a new Value+ Service offering, and the integration with Rainmaker LRO.
These announcements came during AppFolio’s fourth annual Customer Conference in Santa Barbara, California, where property management professionals from around the United States take part in industry education, networking, and hands-on sessions with AppFolio Property Manager experts.
Users will benefit from the new offerings, including Collections, which allows AppFolio customers to quickly and easily turn over past tenants to a collections agency, report tenants to credit bureaus, and help them increase their revenue by recovering money that otherwise might go uncollected—all from within the AppFolio Property Manager software.
“Recovering past tenant debt is time consuming and not very cost-effective,” says Nat Kunes, AppFolio’s VP of Product Management. “Money is sitting out there waiting to be collected, but our customers need to be spending time marketing and leasing their properties. To address this, we’ve partnered with national collections agency Hunter Warfield, and our customers can now send a past tenant directly to this collections agency in a few simple steps and recover lost rent.”
The second service announced at the conference, an integration with Rainmaker LRO, also presents customers the opportunity to boost revenue. It will allow property managers to competitively price their vacancies based on recommendations provided directly from Rainmaker LRO.
